Team Lunch (2nd time)

Wonderful lunch that we had @ CONRAD HOTEL! - Curry Buffet! Cost sgd50+ a person!

I am sure I wasn't paying for the food - don't tell me tax is so high on importing of indian spices! Food is generally niice, similar standard to what you can get at Annalaskmi or Lau Pat Sat Indian stall, where we pay only Sgd4 a plate.

So why's it wonderful then?

Of course, the Ambience!!!

Gentle, quiet, atas, comfy area with great view!

Some of us dine sitting on silk cushion sofas, some on high arm chairs. Some of us eat on coffee tables, some on round glass tables. The mixture of seemingly random, yet perfect combi of furnitures is a great art! Through it, we get a comfortable, cosy, yet not as atas and restricted feeling!

I can't help but be puzzled why CONRAD HOTEL never makes good dessert???!!!! T___T
CONRAD HOTEL from Singapore to Hong Kong serves disappointing dessert!! Wtfish!

Crème-brulee with no harden sugar top?

Chocolate fondue with no flowing chocolates, but served in a pot?

Dessert bar without ice-cream?

Paying Sgd50 for a meal, I sure expect more than this level of dessert!

But luckily, they din't only serve Indian Ginger Sweets as dessert...

p/s: no photos lah.. Can't be snapping picts and drool over of food in such atas place in front of my colleagues, no matter how tasty and delicate they look, right? @___@
