June 2010 - Family Holiday in Hk

Been looking forward to this June Holiday for the longest time ever. Since i set foot in Hk in Feb, this is the first time i am back in Sg grounds. *excited

People won't know how Sg can be fresh and new, only after you are away for some time, u start missing the once familiar looks of this city scape and buildings.

It started with family visiting me in Hk, which turns out to be fabulous! Had a great time hanging out with mummy, william and cindy.

Walking around daily like mad crazy (that is what tourist does in Hk - walk, eat, shop).

Slurping delicious wanton noodles.

Shopping at Mongkok Argle Shopping centre which i expect it to be too boring for W&C, but we ended up buying some useful stuffs including our power ranger watch! (3 of us got the same watch for 3 different colours & Cindy did her first bargaining, picking up the sai-nai skill from Billy the day before at disneyland)

Lounging every night in the living room mattress, chatting abt old times, having great laughs at our silly kiddies past stories that having heard xtimes before, but never tired of it! Best stories in life is always our kiddies years!

Card collecting in Disneyland, running around, braving the shame to ask for cards like a kid again and seeing my mummy doing the same for us is the best thing in life! I thought and told Billy's mum that my own mummy will never do the same running around in Disneyland to collect cards together with us. But I was wrong. She did and I am so proud. She was a nice, accomodating friend for 4 days!

As it was Hk exam period, park was emptier and Cindy managed to ran to Autopia and we were the first in the queue. Obviously, we got our Incredibles Card!!!! *max excitement!

Brave through thick mist in Big Buddha Tung Chung cable car, which I must admit I was a little scared too. This is not like roller coaster where u are securely strapped to a seat. This u are facing up with mother nature's misty weather, strong winds and relying your life on a cable which unfortunately, had bad history of dropping a cable car before. Luckily it's empty. My cute mummy was leaning on my shoulder and me resting my head on hers, holding her hands in mine, resurring her that we are fine through an ocassional squeeze n deary cindy covering her with jacket to keep her warm. All the while, not a sound of complain from her during the ride. *proud of mummy!

N wat eileen said was true - For their kids, all mummys are capable of doing everything another mummy can do. I see no exception in my own mummy myself.

I was the big sister, yet the little girl. I need to think in advance, to plan and could also complain when I am tired.

I am proud to have William this brother too. Like I outrightly told him, all my carrying of his milk bottles when he's a baby is now reaping the returns for he was carrying alot of our bags of water throughout the many days. His non-stop chat and passion about football is so strong. I wish he can do a job related to football or something when he grows up. Or fly a plane like he envisions.

Last but not least, Cindy. The supposed to be littliest girl in our family, yet the bravest and thickest skin. She is a gem to be around. I love all her jokes - cold or warm. She makes me laugh most of the time! When I am with her, she is really a little sister to me - she asks me simple yet intuitive questions, tell me about her school life etc. All these I am living life as her elder sister and that gives me a very special feeling. love u cindy girl!

Pity Daddy is too busy to join us. Be sure to come and enjoy the fun in December!! I am looking forward to the crazy times again for family holiday in December 2010!!!

It was a wonderful start to my 2 weeks holiday!!!
