Lunch at Hide Chan

Lunch at Central Hong Kong on a Friday! *always happier on Friday*

Japanese ramen shop. Tiny area, but they manage to maximize customer comfort piling us side by side, and with a full bottle of plain water. Simple way to order cos it only serve standard ramen with different toppings, in dry or soup or cold variation.

I am having the Hakata Original Ramen and darling is having the seasonal cold ramen.

Our 2nd time here and the last and first was when weather was still pretty chilly. Today we are sitting at the same table facing the same grey wall, but weather has become so unnecessarily hot!

Time to enjoy my ramen!
Entrance the entrance greeted by a big red lantern!
Placing order! a piece of simple paper to place our order with not much options! Hakata noodle my Hakata noodle. See the swirling white bits floating on the soup? They are bits of pork fats from the pork neck. Fat fat fats! But the reason I orders and drank these fat fats is cos they are packed with collagen (as stated in e menu)!! But I gave half away to darling.. Too fat fats! Darling's cold noodle but they mixed up n served the vege noodles set. See the overflowing amt of healthy greens!
Vege noodle
His real order:
Cold noodle check it out! It has crushed ice at the bottom to chill the bowl and noodle. Appreciate the effort they pay to the details on how to keep the noodles cold! I actually prefer this noodle cos the cold temperature makes the noodle specially Q = chewy! If u want to know how to get there, here it is..
